Jordan is a Margaret River based maternity and family photographer, capturing natural, connected moments with a relaxed, playful and storytelling-focused approach. A mother, teacher and photographer with a background in environmental science, Jordan has a deep connection to both people and place. Having grown up in Margaret River, she is drawn to the wild beauty of the South West - its beaches, forests, open spaces and loves incorporating these landscapes into her work. Her sessions are relaxed and gently guided, giving couples and families space to slow down, connect and simply enjoy being together. Rather than focusing on perfectly posed photographs, Jordan looks for the in-between moments and little details that make each family unique. Alongside digital photography, Jordan also offers 35mm film photography, drawn to its nostalgic quality, softness and beautiful imperfections. Shooting film encourages a slower, more intentional approach and adds another layer of depth and feeling to the photographs. With a calm and patient presence, she creates an environment where families can feel comfortable being themselves. Her work is emotive and honest, preserving not just how a family looked, but how this season of life felt.
“Jordan had a challenge as we were all nervous and not great in front of a camera while trying to look natural, but we are so happy with how our photos turned out. We had extended family so it was a large group. Jordan was very professional but made us all feel comfortable and relaxed and ended up being such a fun afternoon. I would definitely book again when we are wanting to get more professional photos done.”
